APPLY FOR A VCSO GRANT

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation only makes grants to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.

FOUNDATION GUIDELINES

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation supports VCSO by providing funds in the areas of equipment and technology upgrades, specialized training, community outreach and youth programs. VCSF Board of Directors consults with VCSO leadership to determine priorities for funding.

The grant request must fall within the Foundation’s mission statement. Please carefully read our Mission Statement:

Mission Statement: The Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation is an independent nonprofit 501C(3) organization with a sole objective to support the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO). The Foundation seeks to build community partnerships to enhance public safety in Ventura County with the support of individuals, families and businesses.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Prior to submitting an application to VCSF, grant requests are first reviewed by VCSO command staff to ensure the need is a Department priority and that the VCSF is the most appropriate source of funding for the request.
